We will cover the use of the Daniels Manufacturing Corporation (DMC) Tooling Guide for Aerospace Wiring Systems. [Hands-on] A/C 609 Certification
NOTE: THIS SESSION IS CURRENTLY FULL, AND ANY SIGN-UPS WILL BE PLACED ON A WAIT LIST. This session will be limited to 8 participants, one representative per company maximum. There is worldwide consensus that chlorofluorocarbons, such as CFC-12 refrigerant used in motor vehicle air conditioners (MVAC), destroy the stratospheric ozone layer. As a result, effective since August 13,1992, no person repairing or servicing motor vehicles for consideration, may perform any service on a MVAC involving refrigerant without properly using equipment approved by the EPA and unless that person has been trained and certified by an approved Section 609 certification program. The objective of this class is to not only help the technicians earn the MACS certification but to also help them understand and appreciate the seriousness of the environmental effects of venting refrigerants and to help them more effectively service the aircraft air conditioning systems. ATTENDEES MUST BRING ALONG A LAPTOP TO THIS SESSION.
*** If you are interested in participating in any of these hands-on sessions, please indicate in your RSVP. You will be contacted closer to the time of the conference with details on times for the hands-on sessions, transportation, etc.

[Hands-on] Foundations to Electrical Troubleshooting
NOTE: THIS SESSION IS CURRENTLY FULL - ANY SIGN-UPS WILL BE PUT ON THE WAIT LIST. This session is limited to the first seven (7) customers whose job function is maintaining aircraft to sign up and is limited to no more than 1 representative per company. Once this session is filled, there will be a waiting list available. If there are available seats for regulatory agencies, supervisors, directors, etc., you will be notified. You will be contacted with details on times and location of the class. This class gives you the tools needed to effectively perform electrical troubleshooting on any Bell Helicopter model and system. The tools include: Ohm’s Law, characteristics of series and parallel circuits, electrical components, proper multi-meter use, and an electrical troubleshooting process. These tools are explained and then demonstrated and practiced on a fully functional starter generator system training aid where each technician can better clarify understanding and start to build confidence in the use of these tools.
*** If you are interested in participating in any of these hands-on sessions, please indicate in your RSVP. You will be contacted closer to the time of the conference with details on times for the hands-on sessions, transportation, etc.
